The Progressive document both sides cite, obtained from the adjuster July 20, 2026. Page 2 states, under damages that are not covered: 'The policy does not cover for improper installation of your roof.' The investigation found windblown shingles and water intrusion into the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. Payment covered only the wind and tree portion ($4,839.07 plus $400 tarping against a $2,500 deductible); the estimate's entire roofing category is $627.56, about two squares under the tarps, with $3,000 of the payment being tree removal.
